Packet Pickup
On FRI: At Run With It in downtown Ft. Walton Beach from 11am-630pm. We highly encourage you to pickup your packet on Fri. If you would like to get someone else's packet, please have a copy of their photo ID with you.
On SAT: From 7am-8am at The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island (near the crashed airplane). ARRIVE EARLY if you need to pickup your packet, the race will start on time.
We will be accepting registrations at both locations/times above (please bring exact change cash, if possible, to speed the process), but you need to arrive early on Sat if you have not registered or you risk missing the race start.

Race Start
Sat, Dec 5th at 9am: The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island ( 1450 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE #206, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548)
10K Run will start first, followed by the 5K run, followed by the 5K walk. Strollers are asked to start at the back of their groups.
Race Details
-The route is an out and back on Okaloosa Island, please see the course tab above for a map
-You must have your bib clearly visible at all times in order to receive a finish time.
-Always run on the right side of the road (there will be runners returning on the other side of the road). Keep right at all times.
-There is one aid station for the 5K and two for the 10K. The aid stations only have water.
-The aid stations are just PRIOR to the turn around for those distances. For the 10K you will run PAST the second aid station and around the turn around sign in the middle of the road. For the 5K you will run past the first aid station and around the turn around sign in the middle of the road.
-If anyone sees a serious emergency on the course and a medical person is not on site, find the closest person with a cell phone and call 911.
-The road will be totally closed to traffic
-Due to new USA Track & Field restrictions, dogs are no longer allowed at the event
Post-Race
-There will be water available immediately at the race finish along with some food/drink from our sponsors
-The band will start at 9:30am at The Swamp (west end of the Boardwalk)
-There will be multiple raffles, including the raffle of a Harley motorcycle- so please bring some cash or card to buy tickets
-Food and drink service will start in The Swamp at 9:45am; including breakfast burritos and various 'fun' and kid friendly beverages (free food and drink is ONLY for those who paid to run in the race)
-The Swamp will have one of their bars open for those who did not run the race but would like a drink or if you want to pay to upgrade your drink selection
-Awards will be presented as soon as the course is clear and the results have been made official

Looks like sunny skies and mild temps in the upper 50's for the start, getting into the upper 60's later in the day. Light winds out of the north.
